So I just got myself settled after the gym...had my protein shake but no dinner yet...it'll be boring so I'm just going to post now. Here goes!
Breakfast was a honeycrisp apple and peanut butter.
I FINALLY made my pasta that I've been craving! I cooked up a half cup (dry) of brown rice pasta (GF) and mixed it with leftover roasted veggies and some yummy sauce. It is actually a pizza sauce (:X) since I prefer savory sauces and I just happen to really like this one. The meal was delicious, I'm glad I finally made it! and it was super filling.
So as I mentioned no dinner yet, but it will inevitably be veggies and protein. Nothing exciting.
Last night was a family dinner and my brother was super awesome and not only brought me vegan treats for dessert, he found GF vegan treats for me! Check out what he found!
Peanut butter rice crispy treat with chocolate!
Some sort of chocolate chip cookie/blondie/bar thing.
I will have half of one of these for dessert. Haven't decided which one and I'll definitely let you know which one and how it was tomorrow.

Maybe you could give a tour of yr Whole Foods? I'm always curious to see other versions of a chain...especially since you seem to find some great stuff at the salad bar.
ReplyDeleteOr one of the Mexican/Chinese food places in yr hood. Sometimes those places intimidate me because I don't know what to order that won't be totally gloppy and greasy.

FF - Shana Tova! I'm not gonna lie, way awesome right there :) I LOVE these ideas, I'm always just so shy about taking photos when I go out which is why I rarely post pics of restaurant meals. Maybe I'll do a post of tips for healthy ordering in a restaurant. I'll try and take pics at Whole Foods too.
Ingrid - Thanks! I definitely want to bake for MoFo, I'll just have to figure out a recipe I want to make. You definitely don't need a trainer, especially since you've been working with one...you can just bring those workouts home with you :) I also plan on posting my home routines too! No prob for the link, I loved that smoothie let me know if you try it!
The pasta totally looks like it would hit the spot! So do the GF desserts. I'm looking forward to your MoFo posts. I'm not doing it this year, just don't have the time, but I'll definitely be cheering from the sidelines!
