A Trip To The Salon!

Hey everyone! This is going to be a short post but I'm excited to show you my new haircut! I've had this appointment for a month and it finally came where I had 2 hours to spoil and pamper myself. I started off with color then finally cut my ridiculous hair. I looked like a new person when I got out of there!


Can you believe this is AFTER I cut off 5 inches of hair! It is still so long that it gets cut off in the photo! I love the color, it is so rich and has a touch of warm red underneath and she got rid of 5 inches of dead ends and cleaned up some layers. I'm very happy with how it came out :) Can't wait to see what the beachy sea salt spray looks like with this cut!

Dinner party eats tomorrow! Have a great Friday everyone! I'm at my brother's house for the weekend so I'll try to keep up with your blogs while I'm here! Happy Friday!

      The iPhone has a two way camera so it is super easy to take photos of yourself. I just hold my phone out and shoot. No high tech tricks at all :) I love the salon I go too, they are amazing!

    5 inches! I bet if feels a lot lighter now, and the color looks great.

      It definitely feels a lot lighter! We've used this color for a while now and I love it so much. I like darker hair on me, even in the summer :X

      Aww thank you Claire! Before I went I was like oh my hair isn't that bad but when she was done I was like omg my hair needed this trim so bad! Treat yourself to a nice day, you deserve it!

      Thanks! It is actually the same color I've been doing for over a year, it just fades a lot so it looks a lot darker when it was just done :) I wish I didn't fade as much, I prefer it darker!

    Great hair; you look lovely! I'm always amazed by how fast my hair seems to grow these days (which is funny because when I was little it seemed to take forever to grow). I get a look at it after a couple months, and I can't believe how much longer it is. Anyway, you are beautiful, and I hope you're having a good Saturday!

    You look wonderful! I love getting my hair cut because it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders (literally!). I also enjoy the pampering. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to enjoy a good haircut for a while since I'm growing my hair out. I want it to be another 4-6 inches long.

      Thanks Sage! I love having my hair washed. I feel so relaxed at that moment. I know how it goes to have to wait to cut your hair but it's definitely still nice to be pampered :) I usually try to have it done on a day where I'm going somewhere since I will never be able to get my hair to look that good on my own! lol!

    It looks really nice! I'm jealous of your length- I've been growing mine out, but it's just at my shoulders now. I miss my long hair, although it's tempting to go super short sometimes, too.

    5 inches is a lot to get cut off, but I know how great that can feel. :)

      Thanks Molly! It took a long time to grown out and I had to restrain myself from cutting more off because I remembered how long it took! Your hair looks great short and long so you can't go wrong! :)

    Your hair looks great! It must've been ridiculously long before, holy crap. Mine's starting to get pretty unruly, gonna have to schedule a hair appointment sooner rather than later. Hooray!
