The fights were awesome last night, I'm really happy my brother decided to order it! It was definitely a good time and it was good that I got out of the house. I got up this morning and got my pedicure which was nice and relaxing. This afternoon we went to my brother's house again for BBQ leftovers and fun time with Delilah. My sister in law and I took her to the park and she is so funny! She runs around like a crazy lady. She has so much energy!
I'm in for the night now, just trying to cool off. I had some pretty great eats today too :)
For breakfast I decided to go for some avocado toast. 1/2 avocado split among 2 slices gf toast with a few pieces of watermelon. This was super filling!
For a snack I had some strawberries and banana with some leftover (Almost) Raw Crumble on top. This was delicious and super refreshing.
I didn't really have a proper lunch I was kind of snacking throughout the day. I need to get back to eating 5 small meals a day. I think my energy will be better if I can figure out how to keep that going without letting my schedule get the best of me.
For dinner I had a grilled portobello mushroom with some salad and corn on the cob. So good!
So that was my Sunday! Trying to get back on track this weekend in terms of energy and fitting in all of my meals. Also starting Bikram yoga probably on Tuesday. I'll get some cardio in tomorrow.
I hope you all had a great weekend! It was nice to have some time off but now it's back to the grind.
Sarah! Wow your last week sounded so hectic! I can totally related to hitting a wall- I can't even imagine what that must have been like in the heat!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you got a chance to relax and pamper yourself a little this weekend. Getting all prettied up is always a great way to recharge and feel better!
Hopefully this week goes a little better for you! Make sure you take care of yourself!

Thanks Gabby! It was a really tough week, I think I still am trying to recover from it. I think I'm getting too old for this lol!
DeleteThanks, me too. I agree, a little pampering goes a long way!
Thanks, I'm trying to find the balance. Take care of yourself too! I hope that you get the answers you are looking for and start to feel better soon!
No matter how many times I eat avocado on toast (or bread), it never gets boring. Perfect and filling. And corn on the cob is one of those simple summer pleasures that I need to get more of! Take it easy with your crazy busy schedule!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, avocado toast is perfect. I would eat it every day if I could. The corn was so delicious. I should eat it more often while I can :) Thanks, I'm trying! :)
DeleteAvo-toast: one of my all-time favorite dishes. Also love it as a bruschetta spread. I love avocados any way you slice 'em :)
ReplyDeleteOooh bruschetta spread is such a good idea! I LOVE avocados too, they are the perfect food!
Deletei'm glad you had fun at your bro's! and yay for a treating yourself to a pedi! that avocado toast sounds super delish -- mmmm! enjoy your bikram yoga!
ReplyDeleteThanks Caralyn! The pedi was nice and relaxing :) The avocado toast was perfect and Bikram yoga will suck tomorrow but after that it should be great! ;)
DeleteHooray for a great Sunday! Oh sweet Delilah, I bet she is so much fun. Pedicures are great! I'm currently in an "orange" phase, previously I had a red-orange color and now have a pearl coral-orange.
ReplyDeleteThese are all fantastic meals! Is this the millet bread? I need to try it soon. Corn on the cob - yum! How was the portobello?
I meant to tell you, a friend of mine did a mud run two weeks ago - and while the obstacles are certainly easier - she had a lot of fun!
She is such a trip! She has so much energy and is a total nutball but she's so funny :) I got a bright pinkish purple color and I love it! Oh pearl coral orange sounds pretty! I am probably going to go purple on my nails soon.
DeleteThat is plain brown rice bread. The millet bread is 5-6 dollars while this one is 3-4. This one is really good though. The portobello was great! It was the perfect bbq meal!
Oh so good to hear! I've been stressed because of the halt in training but I'll just do what I can do :)
Dinner looks great. A perfect summer meal. It's been so long since I've had a grilled mushroom!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was indeed a perfect bbq meal! The mushroom was great! I should grill some to put on salads.
DeleteThat is a super light food day. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI was snacking quite a bit through the day but it was still a bit lighter than usual. Working on getting 5 meals in consistently. It gets really difficult with my schedule which I guess is why I should make sure to do so when I do have the time!
