Work it Gurl!

Sorry for the silly title but I feel like I'm back in the groove with my training so I figured I'd express it here :)  I'm still taking the week off from running but my workout today was different and super fun...45 minutes of trampoline workouts!! So fun, no impact and super challenging too.  It wasn't all fun and games, he had me jumping holding a 70lb weight bag...which wasn't super fun but definitely did it's job!

Anyway, here is the grub!

Breakfast: Oats with cinnamon, flax, banana and sliced almonds.

Midmorning snack: Iced coffee and some watermelon and pineapple.

Lunch: Picked up because I was too lazy to cook more than one meal this morning...and the oats won.  Rice and beans and the veggie of the day: zucchini cooked with tomato and tons of garlic.  Yum.

Afternoon snack: Lemon Larabar

Post-workout: Protein Shake

Dinner: Veggie Plate (carrots, grape tomatoes, snow peas, dolma, cucumber) with hummus. YUM.  It was perfect because I wasn't super hungry after the protein shake.  Maybe I'll snack on some almonds later if I get hungry.

I have to work a wedding tomorrow so I probably won't be able to post.  Hope you all have a great Saturday though!


  1. Everything looks really great today including that surprising zucchini/rice dish! I also love a good snacky dinner plate. I should eat dolmas more often.

  2. Thanks! Everything was delicious and I agree you should eat more dolma ;) It is one of my favorite foods ever...and I made an exception to the no grains after 3pm rule for them too ;)

  4. Thanks :) OMG I know it is going to be really hot. July is the busiest month of the year because all of the teachers get married in July...and it is SO HOT.
