Back to the Grind!

Well today is going to be my first day back at work after 2 full days of rest. As boring as it was to sit on my butt and home it was nice to take a break. I guess I just have to suck it up and get back to the grind. I feel 90% better, just have to get rid of this lingering headache.

Working til 9 tonight so I'm gonna post everything now.

For breakfast I had oatmeal with banana and walnuts and a big ol' mug of coffee.

For my morning snack I had a fruit strip I got from Trader Joe's in the boysenberry flavor. It was really good, definitely had a nice flavor.

Lunch is my leftovers from yesterday's amazing Mexican lunch. I toped it off with some fresh avocado. Yum.

Dinner will be a chopped salad.

Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

  1. Glad you're feeling better. Who knew there were such gorgeous Avocados on Long Island?! Looks like you borrowed some nail polish off last weekends bride.

  2. Oh, I haven't tried the boysenberry fruit strips. I'll have to keep my eyes open for that.
LOL at Shen....I like the nail polish!
Your oatmeal breakfast always turns out so pretty. Mine always looks so bland, but taste good. :o)
mmmm, I sure could go for some Mexican right now.
Hope your headache goes away very soon!

  3. Snazzy nails, lady! The oatmeal looks divine. I'm stick sucking down green smoothies (it's back to the mid 80's here, and it needs to be cooler before I bust out the oatmeal). I must say, your chop salads are so vibrant! Beautiful!

  4. LOL omg you guys are too much!

Shen - Thanks! I get all my yummy avocados from WHole Foods...they tend to have a good crap AND I'm just awesome at picking them ;) The nail polish is the Shatter polish that crackles...silver on purple. Cuz I'm so hip and all.

Michelle - Aww thanks, your oatmeal looks good though! When I take my pics all of the toppings are sitting on top so it looks all pretty. try taking the pic before mixing them in next time.

Ingrid - Thanks! Maybe try some overnight oats? You still get the oaty goodness but it's cool. Ooooor, you can add overnight oats to your smoothies. I had a blueberry muffin smoothie a few months back that was AMAZING.
