Fun Friday - Stuff That I Find Awesome

Hey everyone! Since last Friday's post seemed to be a hit, here is round 2 of stuff I am digging right now :) A little insight into how much of a weirdo I am ha! Just kidding(?)!

You've seen this pic before but I'm really digging my current nail polish situation. It has lasted a while too, with minimal chipping!

Unsweetened Chocolate Almond Breeze. I'd never had it until this week and I've been missing out! It is the perfect way to satisfy a chocolate craving without packing in too many calories. I bet it is a great hot chocolate base too :)

I can't for the life of me remember how I found this video but it is legitimately the funniest thing I've see in a really long time!

Nunchucking! I've been kind of obsessed with nunchucks for a little while and would love to get some so I can learn how to freestyle like the bad ass chick in the above video. They are pretty inexpensive but I can't really afford extras right now but one day they will be mine and I'll have a video of me being a bad ass with nunchucks too. And I'll wear this shirt...

:)

This is an adorable Steampunk Bunny sculpture I found on Etsy. So adorable, but SO expensive! I kind of like it as a tattoo design :X

Finally, how awesome is this watermelon shark?! It is making me excited for summer :) I wish whoever that person is would get their hand out of the photo. Oh well, so cute!!

I hope you liked this week's edition of stuff I'm into. I hope you all enjoy your Friday night! Tonight is the first night of Passover. Good bye grains, I'll see you in 8 days!

  2. Loving the fruit idea. If I had the time, patience or skill I'd totally try that lol
& nunchucks hurt, be careful! I always used to get myself... they look cool though so perhaps it was worth it. Although I think I prefer arnis/stick fighting. Have you ever tried them?

    1. Haha I've never tried any of it! I want to start with the nunchucks and I'm sure they hurt! I was going to get foam ones to start :) That's cool that you have done it before! Is it hard to learn?

  3. Ah, that first video! lol I love the shirts they wear, especially the wolf & clown ones.

That girl with the nunchucks is BAD ASS!! Wow. That would be fun to be able to do that. It would be even more fun to wear that shirt and be able to back it up!

Love the fruit art. My parents went on a cruise a few months ago and they had a few chefs making things like that Very cool!

Oh, and yes, chocolate almond milk makes awesome hot cocoa. :)

    1. OMG the half shirts are classic! I can't stop laughing at that video!

I know I'm so jealous of her. She has got skill and she is FAST! Maybe one day :)

I've seen many fruit sculptures in my day (I've been to over 100 weddings ha!) but this one is by far the coolest ever!

  4. haha, you're into nunchucks? That's really neat! I can't imagine you swinging those things all over like a ninja (as shown in the video). But I guess you are into UFC so it's probably fitting :D

Also - love that shark watermelon! I've never seen anything like that before

    1. I've never used nunchucks before but I definitely want to start! I'm totally envisioning myself as a total bad ass. Not that I have the skill to back it up. There are definitely nunchucks on my amazon wish list ;)

  5. You know I love that nail polish. Great videos. I bet you have one of those "Fuck Gluten" signs and you bring it to Whole Foods, right? That girl with the nunchucks is crazy - wow. The watermelon shark sculpture is cool and a great idea for a summer cookout.

    Have a great weekend!

    1. Hahaha I should make a "Fuck Gluten" shirt! That would be HILARIOUS! The watermelon shark is definitely perfect for a summer time extravaganza :) It looks very festive for the 4th of July actually.

  6. Etsy is a dangerous place! I try to keep it to daydreaming, otherwise my credit card pops out and I do some damage. Ha! Cute finds!

I bet the chocolate almond milk is fantastic! It would a great substitute for a sweet craving.

OMG - LOVED the Organic Life video, absolutely hilarious. I kinda want to go to Europe and find them. And go to restaurant and order as ridiculously as they do! HA HA! Thanks for sharing!

I can totally see you rocking some nunchucks! The gal in the video did a great job, and I could see the tension in her upper body, like "don't hit yourself"!

That's right - no grain! How will you do it? Another round of cleansing, I suppose? Quinoa has so much protein, you could almost not call it a grain. . . :)

    1. Correction: they mention Bondi beach, so they must be Aussies! Now I'm going to Australia instead of Europe!!

    2. Hahaha yeah they are Australian. My favorite by far is when they are outside of the store jamming out on the keytar. That is GENIUS! The restaurant orders were classic, I was like omg that's me, that's terrible! Then I laughed my ass off.

I think "don't hit yourself" probably crosses the mind of every chucker ever to exist.

This will be tough but I'll get through it just fine. This weekend is probably the toughest just because of all of the holiday festivities (Passover tonight and Easter - my sister in law celebrates) tomorrow. I'll get back in the routine Monday though and it'll be smooth sailing :)

  7. First Nunchucks...next Throwing Stars. You are gonna snap one day and massacre everyone at Whole Foods Salad Bar or a Wedding Buffet.

    1. Hahahaha lets hope not! :X I doubt I'd let my nunchucks leave the house should I ever acquire some ;)

  8. That watermelon shark is cute and scary! I'm looking forward to summer too. Summer parties are always the best: fresh fruits/veggies, cotton dresses, sunshine, firworks. :)
