Quick One!

I'm practically out the door for work but wanted to do a quick post now so i don't have to when I get out tonight :)

Started off the day with a 2 mile run.  It was my compromise because I didn't want to go in the first place because my legs are mangled from 45 mins of all kicking yesterday.  Breakfast is an unpictured protein shake and banana.  Midmorning I had a small mug of coffee and a lemon larabar.

Lunch: An aggravating experience that ended up in me waiting 30 mins for a stupid stir fry while a family of 5 got their meals ahead of me.  Mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini, snow peas and cabbage (which was supposed to be bok choy so another annoyance on top of the ridiculous wait).

Afternoon snack: Will be an iced coffee and some almonds.

Dinner: Will be yet another chopped salad - greens, carrot, cucumber, sun-dried tomatoes, broccoli, chickpeas.

Rushed around this morning but got some super cute cupcake decorating materials for my friend's upcoming bday surprise! :) Can't wait to make em.

Off to work, have a great day!

  1. Hey, 2 miles ain't no small thing. Nice job. Sorry to hear about the lunch experience. When yr hungry, waiting is the worst.
And your chopped salads always look so good! You cram so much delicious stuff in there.

  2. Thanks :) It is funny how I feel guilty or like I'm cheating if I only run 2 miles. Crazy! Funny thing about lunch is that i wasn't annoyed because I was hungry, I was annoyed because I thought I had some time to eat and breathe before I had to work but instead I had to eat super fast and run out the door which drives me nuts. Glad you like the salads. I clearly prefer them pulverized beyond recognition ;)

  3. Birthdays and Showers and Weddings and Grand Openings! Your life is exciting. I'm surprised you even have time to exercise.

  4. Lol! I wish it was exciting, but unfortunately most of it is work. To be honest sometimes I sit back and wonder where I find time to do what I do but it really is just a matter of planning. If you want something enough you make it happen :)
