It's Almost Friday!

Hey everyone :) Hope you all had a good week so far! This post will probably be quick because I'm exhausted. I haven't even eaten dinner yet.

After work I went straight to my training session. It was really awesome, we did some new drills today. I don't remember what he called it but he used the word "advanced" in the beginning which was a total confidence booster :) After the gym I spent two hours shopping for groceries and baking supplies. Most of it was driving. I hate driving so I'm tired and totally need to relax right now.

Here's the food.

Oats for breakfast. Topped with banana, walnuts and coconut. YUM.

2 clementines with coffee for midmorning snack.

Lunch was this delicious plate of veggies and stuffed grape leaves (the bottom thing is a pickle). I had a small container of hummus on the side, not pictured.

After my workout I had this delicious Vega chocolate coconut protein bar.

Working on dinner. I'll figure it out.

Have a great night!

  1. Busy day! I am so exhausted, too. I'm still shopping for the holidays, and it is a chore! Doesn't Hanukkah start on the 20th this year? Are you all ready?

Advanced training is awesome - so happy for you!!

Since I'm off next week, I will be stalking the mailman in anticipation. :)

  4. Everything looks so colorful and tasty. I love tropical flavored foods in the winter, just like that bowl of oats. Nice.

  5. Ingrid - Yes, Hanukkah starts on the 20th and I think I'm ready. I think my biggest stress right now is getting to the post office because I have a lot to ship. Oy. And thanks!! I feel like he says things like that to make me feel better about myself but it's all good haha! I'm hoping to get your goodies in the mail by Monday! You'll be getting teasers over the weekend as I bake!

Vic - Thanks! I recommend the baked oatmeal for you! It is like eating a cookie and I think you might like it as one of your nighttime snacks :)

Molly - Thanks! I'm trying. I can get lazy with food but when I'm on a healthy kick it is pretty clean :)

FF - The oats were delicious and I am a strong believer that coconut makes everything better! Coconut and chocolate :)

  7. I've never seen that protein bar - but I love that it's plant based!

  8. Ha! Sorry Shen!

Jesse - The Vega protein bar was actually really good! I prefer shakes because the sugar and carb count is basically zero but that is definitely good for when I have to run out the door with no time to make a shake!
