Crazy Sexy Diet Cleanse Take 2: Day 20!!

Hey everyone! I can't believe I'm finishing up Day 20 of my cleanse already! I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday but my long day got the better of me. Things are going great though, I've been so successful with this cleanse and I'm really happy about it! Even though tomorrow is the last day I'm still planning on doing my Fun Friday post so I'll wrap up the cleanse on Saturday. I'm working on Saturday which works out well since I'll be able to show you Friday's meals then :)

I've decided on a new workout plan starting next week. I'm going to run in the morning 5x per week and I'm going to do fight training/strength training at least 4x per week. I plan on doing a few 2 a days (Mondays, Thursday and Fridays) and Tuesday and Saturday I will do cardio and strength together. I may just do 3 days of running that first week just to get acclimated to the 2 a day situation but I'm planning on going into beast mode so soon!

Nothing too exciting to show meal wise today but I'll show you what I photographed. I'm trying something out tonight and I'll post the review and results tomorrow! You'll have to stay tuned!

OK, so here's what I've eaten/photographed today:

Smoothie to go! I was inspired by Shen's breakfast on the go photos ;)

Lunch was a salad that I had to eat with chopsticks because we had no forks. It was fun!

A super close up of my Mexican Quinoa Bowl. I love this as a high protein post workout meal. Yum!

Ok, that's all for now! So glad tomorrow is friday even though I have a wedding on Saturday. I hope you all have a great night and that you Friday goes quickly for you! Last day of the cleanse tomorrow!

  2. Can you believe it's the end?! I bet you've already established a habit or two that will be part of your normal routine. Sounds like a solid workout plan! I'll be cheering you on from here!

Is there a little chocolate protein powder in that smoothie? It certainly looks like it, but perhaps I'm mistaken! :) Chopsticks and salad sounds difficult, but easier than rice! I've had a lot of guacamole recently, but your quinoa bowl still looks really good.

I'm so happy tomorrow is Friday! This whole going somewhere and paying attention for eight hours thing, is overrated. Ha! ;) Can't wait to see your Fun Friday post!

    1. I definitely think I've developed many new, good habits! I'm excited to keep going! Thank you so much, it's going to be difficult but it's going to make me so much stronger!

Yes I used one of the Chocolate Vega packets. It has strawberries, banana and chocolate powder with some spinach as well. The salad wasn't too bad with chopsticks! The quinoa bowl is my new favorite meal :)

Me too! Hope the the training is going well! can't wait to do my Fun Friday post!

  5. Wow, congrats on doing such a long cleanse! Is it just all clean eating? I might have to pick up that book :)

Make sure you get enough rest between runs. I only did 3-4 runs a week while training.

    1. Thank you! It's basically clean eating, high raw and gluten free which I do anyway. It has a lot more than food in it too. I just highlighted what I was eating but she basically makes you really do a lot of soul searching and I found that to be incredibly rewarding. :)

Yes, I will definitely get a lot of rest! I am planning on doing 5 days a week while I'm still only running 2 miles at a time. As I build distance I will probably cut it down to 4 days a week.

  6. What? What? What? If there's one thing I'm not, it's on the go.

The new B&W avatar is very nice. I may need to commission you to do mine, cuz I look like crap in every pic I take.

    1. Haha I meant your breakfast in the car photos that you've taken at red lights ;)

Thank you! I'm sure that you absolutely do not look like crap in photos. Everyone is their own worst critic. I actually hate the way I look in photos so when I find one that I don't think is terrible I use it for EVERYTHING. That black and white photo is a great example of that. I took probably about 40 pics to get 2 that I thought were ok! Nothing fancy about the photos, the black and white is the same phone pic as the second one above, I just put it in Instagram and make it B&W!
