Hello my friends. I'm sorry my posts have been kind of boring and uninspired lately. I haven't been feeling to great. I'm super tired all the time and my whole body hurts pretty much all the time too. When I wake up my entire body is stiff and hurts a lot. Luckily I have an appointment with my primary care physician on Tuesday so hopefully she can shed some light on what may be going on. Until then I'm going to try and get as much sleep as possible and eat the best food possible to fuel me through the next three days of weddings!

Today's meals were pretty standard.


Avocado toast and strawberries.


Stuffed grape leaves, pickles and carrots.


I will have a chopped salad for dinner that I picked up for $5.50.

Been feeling a bit bummed about not being able to work out but hopefully I'll get this all sorted out and get back to it sooner rather than later. I will try my best to post throughout the weekend even though I have weddings tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday. I will definitely do a fun friday post tomorrow though! I won't forget this week, I promise! ;)

Hope you have all been having a great week. I'm off to Whole Foods to restock with yummy, nutritious foods :)

    1. Oh I wish! Unfortunately I feel even worse when I eat crappy and I haven't been able to exercise in the past week (other than the one Bikram yoga class) and I've been feeling crappy since then. I feel like exercising gives me more energy!

  5. I love your standard meals - they are always so vibrant in color and tasty! You can imagine my jealousy of your perfect pickles - they look fantastic!

    Every time you have a salad from the deli, I remember the story about the older gentleman who wanted to set you up on a date! :) The salad looks as tasty as always!

    I am so sorry you are having to deal with feeling badly. Does it get better throughout the day? I hope you are able to rest up before all the weddings. Sending lots of healing thoughts your way!

    1. Thanks Ingrid! I try to go for a lot of nutrition with minimal prep because I just never seem to have time! Aww the pickles were really good, but are nowhere near as impressive as those meals from Watercourse. I just checked out the menu and I'm so jealous of the breakfasts in particular! I really need to make myself a tofu scramble sooner rather than later!

      Lol! Omg that was so ridiculous. It made me so uncomfortable! It's especially funny now because I can't imagine trying to start dating right now because I am so busy! This salad came from a different deli but the chef did make me a salad so there is a connection there :)

      Thanks for your positive thoughts. It has gotten better only this evening and I guess I'll have to wait and see how I feel when I wake up in the morning. I'm hopefully going to be able to get lots of sleep tonight! Thank you!
