Tuesday Grub

Hey everyone! I'm back with a full day's worth of eats. Nothing really new but I figured I'd post it anyway. Had a really busy morning running around...started off with a little cardio at the gym then ran a few errands. Came home and did a bunch of laundry and now I'm finally relaxing a bit before work.

Check out the meals!

After the gym I had an unpictured soy latte while running my errands.  When I got home I ate breakfast which was a slice of millet toast with 1/2 of an avocado and 2 clementines.

For lunch I'm about to enjoy some stuffed grape leaves with hummus and some cucumber salad. Yum!!

Afternoon snack will be a handful of almonds.

Dinner will be a chopped salad I'm bringing to work which I picked up when I was out running my errands.

Have a great day everyone!

  1. Yum, Yum, and Yum! :o)
I sure could go for a soy latte right now. I need an afternoon pick me up!

  2. Your salads are always so colorful! Sounds like a really busy day for you. Good thing you have that vegan energy to power you through your day!

  3. Mmm! Seems pretty low in calories for the day though.

  4. When I bought more avocados this weekend, I thought of you! Ha! I haven't broken into any as of yet, but spreading one on toast might be in the cards.

I am so jealous of your salads - they really know how to do it right at that store!

  5. Michelle - The soy latte was for sure the highlight of my morning. So good!

Molly - It was a long day but I felt pretty good until like 8 when the last hour just drags and all I wanted to do was go home! I think that was more psychological than physical though lol.

Sophie - I know it seems low but this is how I had to eat today. I haven't had much appetite so I try and pack calorie dense food into my meals like the avocado, the stuffed grape leaves, oil packed sun-dried tomatoes, the unpictured almonds and soy latte. Believe it or not, according to the Lose It! app, I ate 1,355 calories today.

Ingrid - Aww yay! Enjoy the avocados, as you can tell I've been totally obsessed with them lately. They really do know how to make a good salad...there is one guy there that I avoid because he barely puts anything in it other than lettuce! It's the only time it isn't worth the $5.50. :X

  6. Can't go wrong with hummus and dolmas...it all looks really healthy, light and yummy.

  7. Thanks Rose! I agree! One of my winter projects is homemade dolmas. Do you know of any good recipes?

  8. Shen - I actually had that thought yesterday but unfortunately there was no tanning to be done :) Close though!
